How the Imetec 9JGW-25 stationary horizontal mixer ensures uniform mixing
The Imetec 9JGW-25 is a stationary horizontal complete ration mixer (CRM) with a capacity of 25 m³, specifically designed for large farms with over 10,000 head of livestock. Mixing uniformity is consistently maintained at CV ≤ 3%, with overall uniformity exceeding 95%. A comprehensive support system encompassing the design, mechanical transmission, intelligent control, and process engineering fully addresses industry-specific issues of segregation, caking, and uneven mixing of large-volume feeds.
According to the basic design of the mixing machine, it is equipped withtwin-shaft reverse spiral convection systemTwo counter-rotating mixing shafts, combined with forward and reverse spiral paddles, create a three-dimensional circulation within the housing. This ensures complete and forced mutual displacement of silage, straw, concentrate, and additives of varying specific gravity and shape, completely eliminating dead zones and material segregation typical of single-shaft models. A large, wear-resistant U-shaped housing with a smooth interior surface without dead zones, combined with a large-volume flow field design, ensures that every particle of material participates in the complete cycle at a full load of 25 m³, ensuring uniform mixing throughout.
To further improve homogeneity, the equipment is equipped witha set of stepped cutting blades. The auger is strategically equipped with wear-resistant, high-hardness blades that can accurately cut and grind long-fiber straw and block silage, controlling the length of feed fibers within the ideal range, preventing long grass from wrapping and concentrate settling. The blades are made of wear-resistant materials and maintain a stable cutting effect during long-term use, ensuring complete fusion of coarse and fine feed, eliminating local enrichment or nutrient deficiency. At the same time, the gap between the auger blades and the housing wall is precisely adjusted, and the extremely small gap design significantly reduces material residues, eliminating the next batch mixing imbalance due to residue accumulation.
Intelligent control and precise dosingThese are key guarantees of uniformity. The equipment is equipped with high-precision weighing modules with a weighing error of less than 1%, ensuring precise dosing of various raw materials. Combined with an intelligent PLC control system, it supports the storage and automatic execution of over 100 recipes, strictly standardizing the loading sequence, time, and mixing speed. Variable-speed technology automatically adjusts the speed according to the mixing process: high speed at the initial stage to disperse the materials, medium speed in the middle stage for complete mixing, and low speed at the final stage to stabilize the flow and maintain uniformity. This standardized process ensures highly consistent mixing results in each batch.
